I'm beginning to think the government's unleashing the Covid flutes on us all because corporations want to automate the majority of the workforce without any real blowback from the masses. What do y'all think?

Gotta make sure you are in a career field that requires some creativity and deep human interaction. Jobs like teaching, architecting, consulting, management, nursing, etc. will be a lot less likely to get automated. Mindless repetitive type jobs like toll booths, taxi, warehouse type jobs, etc. will be first to go

My main gig is a creative role in a creative field so relatively I feel secure in a post-automation economy... a lot of my side hustles on the other hand (bartending, courier/delivery, etc)

Talked with my mom last night about how her hospital is doing and she said it’s ugly. They’re already clearing floors for covid patients and they’re discussing on who to give priority treatment when they’re full.
