Red Sox's Rodriguez awaits heart test results



BOSTON -- Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez said he is awaiting results of additional testing after doctors recently discovered an issue with his heart they believe is a result of his recent bout with the coronavirus.

The 27-year-old left-hander tested positive for COVID-19 before the start of summer camp, but he was cleared and returned to workouts on July 18. He hasn't had another positive coronavirus test, but he said an MRI revealed a condition called myocarditis that the team's medical staff felt was serious enough to shut him down for at least a week.



Rodriguez said his doctors told him that 10-20% of people who have had COVID-19 also have been diagnosed with myocarditis.

As i said in this thread what...4 months ago...we can shut this bytch down for minimum 3 months where no one but ABSOLUTE essential people are working. Which includes food distribution and logistics, medical, etc.

The govt can break us off bread like these other countries to keep us home. But they're scared we will begin demanding UBI.

People in the federal government should be in jail for what was done to California. The federal government wouldn't give California aid on purpose to push them to reopen and it ended up working. Now California is among the worst in terms of infections and deaths in the nation when they were doing fine into that shutdown. Mitch McConnell and Trump were directly responsible for that. Mitch said let them go bankrupt they get no aid.

The fact that our citizens watched that happen and there aren't calls to end the political careers of both if not jail them is disgusting. McConnell is pure evil and needs to go.

The point of the matter is that these folks cant be trusted and youd be a fool to do so after they showed you how incompetent they were over the past 6 months.


My issue is why are you trusting the words of the incompetent. If the state government offices arent reopening but they are reopening everywhere else, you dont think that's a red flag? If shyt was safe, the state house should be the first place to reopen. In fact, they should have never closed to begin with.

I got a buddy who is a Contact tracer in Tennessee. Here is the list of questions he asks from my memory.

First he asks if the person is sick. Then he asks if they experienced any symptoms by listing each symptom and getting a yes or no for each symptom.

Now here is the question he asks that will get around this "they don't ask about protest" nonsense and retardation. He asks "where have you spent most of your time for the past 24 hours". They either document theyve been at home, work, or some "other location" such as... A protest or rally.

It's not standard protocol from what I know and what he told me to ask if they been at a particular location like a restaurant or rec center. It's not standard to ask something so specific as if you attend a "black lives matters" rally. The individual must provide the information voluntarily. So, the irony of breh talking about " people in here dont know what they are talking about" while spouting totally unrelated nonsense about protests is ironic.

The "why don't they ask about protests" is the thoughts of someone who has decided to inject politics into an objective fact finding process. Guess what? From what my dude told me, they don't ask if you've been to a bar, baseball game, house party, etc either which are questions in the same vein. Once again, he simply asks if you've been anywhere besides home or work and it's up to the person to provide the information
