The real problem is many American citizens are exactly like you. They don't demand action of the government and just shrug their shoulders at it all. They've given you obesity and age to point your fingers at so deep down you don't really see this as a threat to you. You sound like Trump. Plenty of people with no health issues have meet their end from this. Plenty of people have been asymptomatic carriers that have given it to loved ones and had them die over this.

People like you are why we are where we are. Because the people at the top know there's a lot of people like you that don't see this as a personal threat and accept the downplaying of it and that gives them the confidence to not give a fukk and let it spread around.

Our politicians do whatever they think they can get away with.

You keep pointing fingers at everyone except the folks responsible for our predicament. You, nor I, can change or demand jack shyt. We can vote, months from now. Whoopty fukking do. people like me are why we are where we are? I work from home, I stay home, I’ve cooked every meal I’ve consumed since mid February at home. I have that luxury. Bills are paid. Great insurance. Job security. We are where we are because most folks aren’t like me. Rents due whether you are being a masked up hermit or not. Folks can’t just stay home. Everyone in here keeps ignoring that. The government left those tens of millions in the cold. There’s no other reason why we are where we are besides that. Has nothing to do with what the citizens tolerate or allow. They can’t change a fukking thing, and that’s what the government knows

The last 2 weeks numbers been down but yesterday I do not know what happened. We had 10 people needing ICU beds. Miami just went to phase 3 opening so let's see how that plays out. Honestly flu season gonna be a killer. Flu+Covid is scary to even think of.

Elections have consequences. This is the leadership the country chose via the electoral college. Elect incompetent federal leadership and hundreds of thousands die. You list all these problems citing we can't address this health issue properly because of them but were those problems unique to the United States or did other countries face them and still manage to contain the virus anyway? It was very bad in Italy. They still turned it around. Hell in this country it was bad in NY. Still managed to turn it around. It's never too late to take proper action.

The actual problem is people thinking they're fine and this is a threat to other people. As long as their life is good who cares that other people are suffering and dying right?
