The CDC and experts fukked up and this time they won't have Trump and the idiocy of his merry band of MAGA fakkits to hide behind. I warmed long ago of the releasing of constant and often contradictory studies to the American public via the media. All it does is hurt the credibility of the experts. Now it's not just the conservatives upset and distrustful, it's the rest of the nation as well. If they held to a more cautious approach these new studies would be vindication instead of condemnation. Get vaccinated.
The CDC needs to learn how to control the narrative. They are horrible at this. The White House itself takes a much harsher tone with reporters than they expected and I believe that has been beneficial. He needs to get the CDC in line and tell them to regain control of the narrative here. Walensky(sp?) is way too alarmist to allow her words to be leaked and then twisted by the media.

It's undeniable at this point that a growing proportion of cases are vaccinated people and vaccinated are at much more higher risk of infection that was previously assumed.

These types of headlines are incredible misleading, and suggest that you are at a much higher risk as a vaccinated person than you actually are.
