This is a serious crackdown on people whom don’t want to take the vaccine. I’m just wondering how long will Canada hold on to this stance. Will this bring the Canadian people together or cause even a bigger divide…
Not that big of a divide. 65% fully vaccinated, 71% have their first. Then you have to vaccinate the kids. 6 mil out of 35 million people. Post secondary institutions are starting to make vaccination mandatory for staff and students, so it is reasonable to assume school boards for the younger population will eventually follow suit.
People have had ample time to get their shots. How much do we have to do to appease these people who are stopping our progress into normal life every step of the way? What about small business owners? People who have been in the surgery backlog for months because of covid? Kids who have missed on crucial developmental years without daycare and school?
It is idiotic to fukk over the economy and a chance at normalcy for a potential 10-15% of the population. I don't give a fukk that these cacs and braindead morons can't get into a supermarket, restaurant, bar or whatever. To hell with them.
i got my vaccine but i'm against the government banning citizens who pay their taxes from domestic air travel and trains both with are subsidized by tax payer money.
