I thought dumbass antivaxxers were pretty much just a US phenomenon, didn't realize London had them too
Cacs worldwide saw the Floyd protests and just had to play the victim about something

I think it just simply boils down to the fact a lot people just simply aren’t comfortable with getting the vaccine at this time. It also doesn’t help that the people whom aren’t vaccinated are getting bullied, made to feel shame, being told that there is no empathy for them. The reality is that this isn’t going to make them get the vaccine any faster.
At the end of the day, everyone wants to get back to normal. To be worry free and not having to wear masks and for Covid to be completely gone. This isn’t going to happen overnight unfortunately. We have a long road ahead of us. The best we can do is to have common sense about this whether you’re vaccinated or unvaccinated.

) to keep wearing your mask, social distance, wash your hands AND get vaccinated. But let's be real, are most anti-vaxxers going to reject the vaccine but wear masks and social distance? We need only look to all of last year to get the answer to that. The bullying and shaming only happens because un-vaccinated folks keep spreading misinformation and weird conspiracy theories like computer chips in the vaccine and there being poison inside of it. If this was June of 2020 and vaccines were already available, most people would've disregarded the anti-vax rhetoric and went about their business.
But we're almost in September of 2021, the variants are doing people in, and selfishness is at an all-time high. People's patience are wearing VERY thin with anti-vaxxers, and it's only a matter of time before the heat really tuns up. It's like the whole class being held inside for recess because of a few rowdy ass kids -- they're gonna look at them as being the ones responsible for taking their fun away. Being the class clown is only funny until we all have to pay for it.
Do I personally want the un-vaccinated to suffer? No. Exhausted as I am, I'm not a heartless human being. But if places start putting restrictions on folks (besides grocery stores) because they didn't want to get their shot, then there's not a damn thing they can do about it. Seeing people's experiencing and knowing people IRL that contracted the virus, as well as hearing about long-haul COVID was more than enough to convince me to get my two doses. In the end, why would I want to take the risk?
If the vaccines had dangerous side effects, we'd be hearing plenty of cases en-masse. Especially since there's been people that were able to get their doses earlier than everyone else due to their health condition. And ultimately, officials never said the vaccine said they were a cure. They said it's protection against the virus which lessens your odds. That's a huge difference. That's why they also keep saying (except for that one weird period) to keep wearing your mask, social distance, wash your hands AND get vaccinated. But let's be real, are most anti-vaxxers going to reject the vaccine but wear masks and social distance? We need only look to all of last year to get the answer to that.

I can definitely see how the vaccinated are stressed out against the unvaccinated as they feel like, what is the harm in getting the vaccine? Just get the vaccine and it’ll all be over. It should be a straightforward process, but again, when it comes to this, a lot of people are still on the fence about this, even with the information being present.
Like I’ve been mentioning earlier, there will be people whom won’t get the shot regardless of the info out there. We’re not going to get a 100 percent vaccination rate. The big key here is for people whom are both vaccinated and unvaccinated is to practice common sense. Unfortunately, it’s the road we’re likely to be on for the future unless is 100 percent mandated. If that happens…..![]()
Damn sorry for your loss.Got dammit.
My cousin was one of those types who didn't want to get vaxxed. Had 105 fever and fellow family let him stay home sick (hell he may have gone to work).
But he caught (or started showing symptoms) Covid-19 (not the Delta variant) on Wednesday the 11th, was rushed to the ER the following Wednesday and died last night.
Stop. Taking. shyt. For. Jokes.
This is the first close death I've had to face due to Covid and it sucks.

In Missouri, the attorney general is suing school districts with mask mandatesWith schools starting I am seeing ALOT of kids sick from my old friends and coworkers in Florida.
Here in Pittsburgh school just started this week so I can probably expect starting next week to hear about the kids being sick with Covid here too
. All of the school districts in St. Louis metro area that are predominately black have mask mandates. Two of those school districts have the highest rate of infection and low rates of vaccination.
