thats where we are headed though. The lockdown isn’t to eradicate the virus. It’s to get reasonable measures in place to test and isolate infected, research treatments and being able to move the fukk on with life while having some precautions still in place for the old or vulnerable. Use the time in isolation to lose weight, eat better, lower your blood sugar, boost your immune system and by mid June or early July at the latest it’s time to get the fukk on with life it’s as simple as that. Can’t let shyt crumble beyond that, we have to learn to live with the virus at some point.

Lemme guess, you think we should close up shop and months and potentially years on end? That ain’t a solution. If the government isn’t allowing folks to do that by compensating them for their jobs and businesses being shuttered for that entire time period, you have to learn to live with the virus and get on with life. It’s that simple. That’s where we are, and have been, since June. Stay home if you want. Go out if you want. work remote if you want. Work at the office if you want. Send your kids to school if you want. Try remote learning if you want. I don’t give a fukk. Get yourself healthy, because the only path left is herd immunity or a vaccine and you are likely to catch the virus at some point no matter what you do. Can’t avoid it. Can’t hide from it. You will encounter it at some point. You can adhere to 100% of the precautions and catch it from the pharmacist at cvs when you pick up a prescription, or the grocery store, or from an amazon worker, or from someone you live with etc. folks have moved the fukk on, and are willing to take their chances with corona and keep food on the table. If you aren’t ready to, stay home. It’s really that simple

Only talking reality. You and other folks are in some sort of utopia where everyone can just wait this out for potentially years sitting inside their homes, with no income, health insurance, or government subsistence and have plenty of food on the table for their wife and kids and keep the bills paid. That’s nowhere near the case. Covid is here to stay. That’s the fact. You have to learn to live with it, and get on with life. Or stick your head in the sand and act like just because you have the luxury to hide out with no worries and pretend that most of society can play along with you in your isolation paradise where millions won’t be getting evicted as we get to the cold fall and winter months, with millions more a month or 2 of missed rent on no income from joining them and all catching Covid inside school gymnasiums which are converted to a homeless shelter to house the millions of evicted. Sounds like a great plan
