The vaccine trains your body on how to deal with the shyt on a practice run so when you actually encounter it then it's prepared so yeah it'll save you.

Got Covid Dec 2020, was a little sick but nothing major.
got fully vaccinated in April. Have been in the clear. Hung out with my two friends yesterday who are also vaxxed…went to the bar with them and smoked a blunt. One of them called this morning saying his dad tested positive who he just saw this weekend. So he got tested, he’s positive too.
when he told me his dad was positive, I went straight to a walk-in vaccination site and got my booster.
I guess I should self-isolate through Thanksgiving?
