The manager made a poor decision understaffed or not it's silly to take that chances especially considering someone may die now.

When this shyt first started ramping up, my brother who is the operations director for all our facilities, just shyt down production at our biggest building in NC because COVID was starting to feast. He got the local govt involved and ended up getting all the employees tested by the state, they set it all up, sent people to the site, all that, and the state govt did all the legwork because my brother was literally the first person to reach out to them smh you can NEVER go wrong if you put the employees first, you have to, especially with something like this. He caught a lot of shyt in real time with the other directors, but ended up looking great when it was all said and done, especially since the state used his response as an example of “the perfect way to handle it”. I have been in the OP’s position, understaffed and angry customers, but I have learned that operating like that is no recipe for success. It means you should start looking for a new job on the other end of this pandemic (eat off OT until they shut the doors, tho)

Trump's "ban" on travel still allowed 40,000 American citizens to return from China alone, not to mention that the worst early outbreak was in New York and came from the Europe-based strain which wasn't even on Trump's radar until months later. Are you suggesting a ban on travel from all nations with even Americans who happen to be on vacation or working abroad banned from coming back? Because Trump never suggested that.

Literally nothing Trump did with air travel was going to stop Covid from getting here. At most it might have given us slightly more time but since Trump refused to do jack shyt to prepare the country in the 2 months of warning time he DID have, what would a little more time have done?
