Here’s the thing.... A lot of vaccinated people aren’t doing what they are supposed to do....... the majority of unvaccinated people I know ain’t never stopped rocking masks... socially distance, and really don’t go anywhere..... Now the vaccinated people I know, threw their masks in the bushes after their first shot and started planning trips to Cabo and shyt.....

The vaccine mitigates extreme complications from Covid.... but it doesn’t give people the right to behave like shyt is sweet out here

I'm seeing the same thing. My neighbors, vaxxed, are traveling and hosting huge parties at least once a month. Meanwhile, we still on high protocol: masks, gloves, sanitizer. Everything brought in is sanitized at the Wipe Me Down Sanitation Nook. (And yes, we do the dance.) We never stopped.

I have over 50 coworkers phone numbers. Its good to have peoples info to help schedule vacations or random switches.
People openly talk about the pandemic and how it is affecting their lives.
Maybe the culture here is just different than what you experience in an office job or whatever it is that you do for a living.
We talk about pretty much everything here.
Ive had people walk up to me and rant about their divorce, rant about the cost of putting their mother in law in a nursing home, rant about their medication costs, etc.

I remember folks were arbitrarily taking “I’m sick with something vauguely resembling COVID” leave all of last year and the early part of this year.

Last July, one of my employees died from Covid 1 week after he got tested. He died on a Saturday. That Sunday, most of my employees didn’t show up to work. 6 eventually quit.


This was well before a vaccine had even been created. If I work with someone who is sick and they got Covid, if the manager doesn’t send them home immediately, I’m reporting it to HR, then OSHA, and then a lawyer.

One guy came into work knowing he was sick because our job refuses to pay people who are out with Covid. He didnt want to get tested and get a positive result because he would have run through his sick leave/vacation time or go without a paycheck.

The head boss didnt want to send him home and face backlash for us being understaffed, so he tried to wait a few hours until another guy came in to replace him.

Long story short, sick guy exposed a ton of people and we now have 7 confirmed positive cases and 20 people on quarantine. We are still waiting on everyone else to report their test results, butmore people will end up on quarantine as well.
Ive been racking up on OT, but I had to cancel a vacation, and so did 3 other people.
A lot of people have had to re-arrange their lives for the next few weeks while this gets sorted out.

3 exposed guys have wives that have compromised immune systems or complicated medical histories, and NONE of those guys are vaccinated.

Out of that 27 on quarantine, Ive spoken to 23 of them.
6 were vaccinated, and all tested negative.
8 were un-vaccinated, and 7 of them tested positive.
9 more are un-vaccinated, and have yet to be tested.

The 6 vaccinated people are Democrats.
You already know the rest.....

The head guy who gave the okay for the sick one to keep working is currently at home hiding from the backlash and claiming he also needs to quarantine.
He was supposed to get a promotion in the next few months.
Now, maybe he gets fired.
Im curious to see how it plays out.
