They aren't a separate population from the rest of America.

:russ:

But they are a good group to test the hypothesis, genius.

It's how studies are done.

You take a certain group of people, test your hypothesis on them, and watch for the results.

If over 200 young, healthy, athletes test positive in a few weeks out of a population of 1500, then there's no way the vaccine prevents infection over 99% of the time.

We're not talking about 15 breakthrough infections, we're talking about so many infections, the NFL has said they're gonna stop testing asymptomatic players.

Not a good sign:stopitslime:

No, they aren't since they're ALL male, under 65 years old, but over 18.
:laff::laff::laff:

Dude, just putting a bunch of laughing emojis doesn't change how retarded your point is. :francis:

If I tell you something works 99.9999% of the time, but exponentially that amount of people in one small group of people completely blow that out of the water, you have to come to two conclusions.

1. there's something specifically about that group of people that elevates their risk

or

2. Your hypothesis is wrong.

Again, drugs are tested like this all of the fukking time.

You either have to argue that NFL/NBA players are somehow weaker than the average person, making them more likely to catch COVID

or

The vaccines are not gonna stop you from catching COVID and the NFL/NBA have proven it. :yeshrug:

“I’m being pushed rightward”

If vaccine discourse is pushing you towards right wing ideology you’ve always been friendly towards said ideology or you have no real beliefs in the first place.

It’s very weird to hear black people using right wing rhetoric that white people use about vaccines. White folks don’t understand what oppression is, we actually do. Hence anyone calling vaccine discourse oppressive in my eyes is either not actually black or just straight up have never experienced actual oppression.

If you’re cool with right wing ideology don’t use the governments efforts to fight a pandemic via public health policy as a reason to openly come out as a believer in that ideology. Just straight up do it, don’t be a p*ssy like plenty other right wingers on TLR that don’t have the balls to admit they wholeheartedly believe in hard right ideology.

It’s much easier to have honest conversations if one party isn’t playing hide the ball their beliefs

Powerful posting

Wow!

One of the most arrogant and self righteous posts I've ever seen on thecoli.
Way to show that you know nothing about people, yet this is typical of what goes on in the 'Woke Left'!
