I swear anybody who wants Dwight on their team at this point is just an idiot. THe only time I want him on my team is if it's 2K13, otherwise I'm getting someone who is going to be beyond useless once their athleticism continues to decline.

If Otis fukking Smith can force Dwight to an extra year long extension, I'm 100% sure Mitch will have Dwight at LA for the foreseeable future.
Dwight is such a clown, realistically, is anyone on this board a fan of his? I don't mean he's playing for your team and you root for him to have a big game, but like a fan of his game and his overall worth as a human being?

I think people who still loved to quote individual stats in basketball without greater context are the only ones still willing to pay this guy to play for them.
He's a stat stuffer and nothing more. He has one-of-a-kind type athleticism for his position that let's get by most of the time, but the guy can't be trusted in close games and he doesn't make enough of an impact throughout the game to really be a factor.
I honestly don't think the market means any difference to him. He wants to go somewhere for whatever his individual reasoning is. The guy is about as horribly unprofessional as pro-athletes get.
If I'm the Lakers, I'm finding a sucker who will take him and his expiring contract, but if the lakers give this clown a contract extension they have to be insane.

That's what 99% of the Dwight articles have been over the last 2 years. He's still an idiot for always helping feed into it.
Back problems don't go away with players as they get older. Especially one like dwights where he relies on his athleticism. Foot problems aren't as severe. Atleast this foot injury isn't related to the other one from last year.

i'm not sure if this is true, but trading for a star without an extension locked in is a risky deal. of course l.a. is a great city, but it still can be great place to live in the offseason, not playing there during the year. ask derrick rose, carmelo, kg and a bunch of other players with houses there. dwight still can try for his entertainment ambitions during the offseason and not play there.
