Report: Cowboys hire Scott Linehan to call offensive plays

The Dallas Cowboys have hired former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator and former St. Louis Rams head coach Scott Linehan to call their offensive plays, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday.

How so? We were top 10 in rushing yards/carry but last in rushing attempts? how does that make any sense

unfortunately i don't think linehan is gonna solve that, but the lions did have 100 more rush attempts than the cowboys last year

Basically Jerry just doesn't want to do what shouldve been done alread. Firing Red. He just castrate his coaches instead of firing them.

I really am not getting whats going on in Big D right now. I mean, I got faith in the team but shyt like this just got me like . Before Garrett was coach Jerry said he didn't want a walk around HC, meaning calling plays on one side of the ball. Then he rips Garretts balls out and gives play calling to Callahan, which I wasn't really cool with but I figured since he was a offensive line coach he would run the ball more. Now this. Just let Garrett call the plays like he used to whats the worst that could happen. And I like Garrett, but this is a show me year. Its playoffs or he's gone. And if its another 8-8 week 17 division loss for the playoffs then Jones needs to walk on down from the box and put this nikka down.
