The defense has always been trash under Marinelli. You can't hope to keep outscoring teams every game.

Low turnovers.

It's a reason he went 0-16 as a head coach.

He's not very smart when it comes to schematically.

The offense does put up enough points on average.

The defense is the problem. They also doesn't help the offense when it comes to field position. Because they are always getting drove past the 50 yard line.

I agree. Problem is that Dak and Zeke carry a heavy load when it comes to expectations. A lot think Dak is a game manager bus driver type QB like Alex Smith. He is at times but our D just cant make enough stops plus we make average QBs look good giving them blown coverages and all day to throw. A lot of fans are starting to blame Dak (which he shoulders some with his inaccuracy in pocket) but we can't win with this D even if we had a Rodgers or Brady.

Our offense is basic as fukk. Teams are figuring out how to stop it. Seems like the offensive line isn't as dominant either.

The OL was kicking the Rams DL the entire 1st half, this came down to bad coaching plan and simple. Mickey is on The Fan right now excusing Dak's bad play and putting it on the OL. Dak has made some plays so far but overall he's been average at best.

We knew the D was bad but they still went 13-3 last year, the fact is teams have figured Dak out and he's not a pocket QB. Zeke has no problem carrying the load but it seems to be affecting Dak.
