Coworker cac "urbanizing" interactions

Coli brehs, looking for a little advice. I been working this new job closing in on 3 weeks now at a corporate office, accounting work. I'm certainly younger than most/nearly everyone in this office, (many who have been with this company for double digit years,) and more importantly, I look younger than they know i am. 1st office gig outta college.

This older cac already starting to get slick greeting me with 'Sup Rust all extra like, after I give em your standard "good morning Jim". I'm not gone have this escalate, but i wanna dead this shyt quick. Granted, they getting the watered down version while I get thru this 90 day period so I gotta withhold my perma-scowl and usual bluntness on these cacs and play nice for the moment.


Reminds me of that when keeping it real goes wrong chappelle shyt, but more intentional on this old man cacs part. What yal suggest? Oh and I don't have the capital to start my own business so FOH with that shyt

I think you are playing it right, minimal perma-scowl, friendly and sharp worker drone...fuuck the lil curves or cultural mismatches. Get your 90 days and more in to start your career.

So get your experience up, get your money up (savings/investments), get your network up, and plan an exit strategy so you too can be a Blackpreneur.
