Chris Paul had the second best PER in the league behind lebron in 08...better than Kobe, better than dirk, better than wade....

if we are talking the 08 and 09 seasons besides lebron, wade and chris paul were the best players in the league....dirk was great, but he wasnt the dominant force that those other 2 plus lebron were...also chris paul always destroyed dirk when they played, same with dwight.

Chris Paul should have won mvp because before he was on the hornets they won like 14 games....then when the 08 season started they had 50 plus wins with him averaging 20 10 and 3 steals leading them to the second best record in the west

So because he had a higher per(which is something Hollinger literally made up) he should've been mvp?

1.)David west was an all star that season(something Pau wasnt)and was a better player. He also played 76 games that season while Pau only played 27 for the lakers. It should be noted that Pau's efficiency went through the roof once he came to LA
2. Andrew Bynum was done from January on, him and Pau never played one game together. He only started 25 of the 35 games anyway.
3. Before Bynum was done for the season, LA was 26-11 and ahead of Paul's Hornets even then

Odom- 13.5 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, 2.1 TO, 0.9 spg, 48.5 FG%, 54.5 TS%, 36.2 mpg, 31 games
Bynum 13.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.5 TO, 2.1 bpg, 63.6 FG%, 65.9 TS%, 28.8 mpg, 35 games
Fisher- 12.4 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.2 TO, 1.1 spg, 47.8 FG%, 59.6 TS%, 26.6 mpg, 36 games

David west Peja and tyson are better then Fisher,Odom, and A raw young Bynum. I don't see how Kobe had the better team. Oh and at wade being better then Kobe in 08'.

23pts, 10 ast, 5 rebs, and 3 steals while leading the bum azz Hornets to 49 wins.

That knee injury really brought him back down to earth or he might of challenged Magic as the best PG ever.
