Never max out a dude who wont swing a series, this dude is playing to a draw with Mason Plumlee who makes $1.4 million vs. DeAndre's $19 million. And you can make a case for Plumlee having a bigger impact on the series cause the Blazers are running plays around his passing (6.5apg for the series).

I still can't figure out why they sunk all that money into DeAndre, given that they failed to expand his role at all, and they could've spent the money elsewhere to bolster that sad ass bench and that old ass perimeter.

They were capped out. They couldn't have replaced De Andre

Coach Kerr was just talking about it, he said as we saw last night with Chris and with Steph the other day that nothing's promised. So, you have to take advantage of every opportunity, because you don't know what's going to happen. We come out here everyday and we just don't know, we don't have a clue what's going to happen.
