The Clippers were already over the cap and they had to max Deandre out or they would lose him and not be able to sign anybody else significant. They had like a 3.3 million mid-level or some shyt.

This is true, and my point about filling out the bench is moot in that respect. That said, I would've let Dallas overpay him and given Cole the starting gig. All they did this year was waste a year of rebuilding the roster.

Never max out a dude who wont swing a series, this dude is playing to a draw with Mason Plumlee who makes $1.4 million vs. DeAndre's $19 million. And you can make a case for Plumlee having a bigger impact on the series cause the Blazers are running plays around his passing (6.5apg for the series).

For real, man. You could go on and on about every move Doc has made, it's mind-boggling. I still can't figure out why they sunk all that money into DeAndre, given that they failed to expand his role at all, and they could've spent the money elsewhere to bolster that sad ass bench and that old ass perimeter.
They were capped out. They couldn't have replaced De Andre

And De Andre's role is fine

How bout those Suns :troll:
Sure, would you like to use this thread about Chris Paul's injury to discuss how Devin Booker is going to be better than Dame Lillard? :troll:

Every post I see from you is bytching about the Warriors now tho
Tell you what, I'll stop talking bout the Warriors' lucky breaks when they stop catchin em.

Ten years ago, when we found out you were gay, everybody was jocking the Sons and you didn't seem to have this problem.

Now you have a problem becuz some of those same people are having fun watching the Warriors kick some ass. :jbhmm:

Sounds like something a woman or an extremely flamboyant gay man would have a problem with.
:heh: Truly terrible posting

The disrespect y'all show to Portland is amazing.

Portland gave the Warriors the biggest L of the year, that 137-105 smash in Portland with Curry playing. Lillard only dropped 51 that game, and now he's going to come home to Oakland. :blessed:

You this dumb in real life? :russ:

Coach Kerr was just talking about it, he said as we saw last night with Chris and with Steph the other day that nothing's promised. So, you have to take advantage of every opportunity, because you don't know what's going to happen. We come out here everyday and we just don't know, we don't have a clue what's going to happen. And so it sucks. When I first heard it I was at a commercial shoot and I was like, "Huh?". It sucks because you know, you hate to see anyone get hurt. I was saying the other day, I think sometimes fans will get it twisted like, "Ah man that's good for our team." But you live that everyday. It's not like you walk off the court and like, Chris can go pick his daughter up. He can't go pick his daughter up with that hand now. It's not like Steph can walk off the court and go run around with his daughters. It don't happen that way, you live that every single day. And so it sucks to see anyone get hurt, beyond basketball. Like, it's bigger than basketball. And obviously we all want to win championships, but, it's life, so it sucks to see that happen, and it's unfortunate

So the real question is wouldve Chris Paul broken his hand if Curry didn't get injured? :patrice:

Would Blake have gotten "injured" if Chris Paul didn't break his hand? :ohhh:

Would the Clippers beat the Blazers if Cp3 and Blake didn't get injured? . :wow:

Assuming Clippers win the series and meet the Warriors next round :manny:

The CURRY effect:merchant:
