Threads like this are why I dont give a fukk when players go "team up" and yall cry like babies about it. Clippers 6-2 with Paul and no Blake this year, while his numbers have remained steady with no drop off into his 12th season. Knicks are a yearly lottery team.
Fwiw one reason CP3 hasn't necessarily got as much flack as Melo is because CP3 unlike Melo, is statistically a 2-way player(good on both sides of the court), who is also extremely unselfish. The only thing you can really hate on CP3 is his whining to refs and lack of team achievements.
Honestly I like both of them, and think for the most part both CP3 and Melo when it's all said and done will go down as two of the more underappreciated superstar talents in recent NBA history.
I'd love to see em eventually retire from the game with a ring, just for the culture.
