Fwiw one reason CP3 hasn't necessarily got as much flack as Melo is because CP3 unlike Melo, is statistically a 2-way player(good on both sides of the court), who is also extremely unselfish. The only thing you can really hate on CP3 is his whining to refs and lack of team achievements.

Honestly I like both of them, and think for the most part both CP3 and Melo when it's all said and done will go down as two of the more underappreciated superstar talents in recent NBA history.

I'd love to see em eventually retire from the game with a ring, just for the culture.

Both have started to catch heat of late. Neither of them have reached T-Mac or KG levels, let alone Bron levels, of heat so nikkas need to take the capes off. Also nikkas gotta stop with the false equivalences. nikkas want CP3 to take the same heat for going out in round 2 in the west (that everybody likes to act like is this unconquerable gauntlet) that Melo gets for only getting that far once and missing the playoffs 3 straight years in the "leastern jv" conference. nikkas straight up ignore the last 8 years of his career to dwell on that one run to the CF, that was as much about Chauncey coming to the squad than anything. For people that can't stand media narratives cats sure do ride with them when convenient. How about we just acknowledge the dudes for what they are and what they have done and leave it at that?
