i said tony parker was better than isiah thomas and when i asked what zeke does better than him nobody had anything to say to that. talking about things like toughness. guard play has improved so much since that era

The article is interesting because it points out how Zeke did his thing in the Finals and forever skewed people's perception of him. He was great but his Finals lore causes people to overrate him. There isn't one statistic that points to Zeke other than his 2 rings.

Sounds good but it's not really true.

Chris Paul vs. Russell Westbrook | Basketball-Reference.com

Chris Paul vs. Derrick Rose | Basketball-Reference.com

Chris Paul vs. Rajon Rondo | Basketball-Reference.com

Chris Paul vs. Deron Williams | Basketball-Reference.com

He's gotten the best in the head to head matchups vs Parker, Westbrook, Rose and Rondo. Deron Williams is the only guy who's really gotten the better of him and just barely.

So who are these "good PG's" you're referring to?
How dare you go against the narrative.

Dude is a Rose stan. He hates that people consider Paul to be the better player. So he puts him down whenever he gets the chance.

:childplease:LOOK AT THE MATCH UPS THE LAST 2 YEARS.
PAUL GOT THE BEST OF nikkaS WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG.
WHEN YOU DROP 29 POINTS & THE ROOKIE DROPS 4...
THAT GOES A LONG WAY IN H2H AVERAGES WHEN YOUVE ONLY PLAYED 5 TIMES.
CRIS PAULS GREATEST ATTRIBUTE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PUPS AND OLD PLAYERS.
HE HAD HIS BEST YEARS WHEN THE PG GAME WAS :flabbynsick: & THE NEW KIDS WERE BABYS.

my gut feeling was that it was the allure of that pistons team going up against mike, larry, magic and all them. isiah thomas had to be great by association if nothing else.

i could be wrong but i think but that him and dumars were pretty even as far as numbers and being the one leading that team. its just for whatever reason zeke stood out as the face of that organization

:what: Parker is older, Rondo and Williams are the same age. Westbrook plays in the West so they play all the time. I'll assume you're talking about :deadrose:.

But you're arguing numbers for the sake of your stanhood at this point and therefore will not be taken seriously. :russ:

Inches
The rules benefit perimeter play now. Zeke would destroy this era. And punch Blake Griffin in the grill if he finished a gm with 2 rebounds.

He had 25 points in 1 quarter in a Finals game. That'll do it.

:pachaha:GIVE ROSE A PRIME D.WEST OR BLAKE GRIFFIN,
AND HE GETS PAST THE 2ND ROUND.

Give a prime and injury free Chris Paul those guys and he gets out of the first round too. Especially if he is in the east.

Derrick Rose will never be on 08 Chris Paul's level. :whew:

Hell he'll never be on current Chris Paul's level.
