They lost to a Sixers team that took the Celtics to 7 games. They lost Noah in game 3 and Deng had a wrist injury. They weren't just without a healthy Rose.
You can bring up whatever stats you want, but Rose wasn't more valuable than Dwight, Dirk or Lebron.

Folks got that ESPN "everyone now is better mentalitiy". There ain't NO WAY I'm taking CP3 over the man that led teams both in the NCAA and NBA to championships. You can post stats all you want to claim CP3 is better statistically, but Zeke's ships speak volumes. He was the Pistons ringleader.

Bulls probably would've swept the Sixers with Rose. The only reason the Sixers managed to stretch that series to 7 games is because Rondo didn't have the ability to close games (due to the decline of Pierce) + he ran the offense inefficiently. It really had nothing to do with the quality of the Sixers.
Rose was more valuable than:
Lebron who had a 25+ PPG scorer on his team, in Wade who was arguably a top 3 player, to juggle offensive responsibilities/loads with. The Bulls offense started and ended with Rose, the Heats offense didn't start and end with Lebron. Dwight certainly had a case, but the difference in records and ability to take over late in games/ability to create team offense - put Rose over the edge. And Dirk had no case.

Rose wasn't top 5. The same media that voted him as the MVP ranked him as the 8th best player 5 months later.

LOL @ Dirk having no case. Dirk missed 9 games in 2011 and the Mavs lost all 9. Mavs finished with the 4th best record in the NBA that year. They clearly weren't the same without him. Now compare that to the Bulls record with and without Rose.
Answer my question. When he flops again this year avd resigns with (sorry Blake) what then? Still the legend gawd?
