I dont know if this applies, but a dude at work got mad at me because he got a 30 day suspension from work because of continuous attendance issues.

He legit told me I'm messin it up for him because I dont miss work and they expect him to be at work like me:gucci:

That could be said about ANY aphorism used to illustrate negative aspects of society or human behavior. They're always about choosing the right mentality and path.

It's not suggesting that "all you are is a crab"

It's suggesting that people can and do behave like crabs in a bucket and encouraging you not to behave that way.

Saying it's about adapting and not being animalistic is too general.
