wow that la fin du monde was a really good brew. first beer from unibroue. i dunno where youre live, but these are pretty readily available, and very solid tripels

also if you happen to see this, scoop it up it is the same style, but with a lil spin on it. really good stuff from anchorage brewing

So a few years back, in the dawn of my beer drinking days. One of my neighbors took me to The Trappist in Downtown Oakland. I was still just getting used to Coronas, Red Stripes and Heineken's at the time(was previously just about liquor and wine). So I wasn't feeling it too much and the beers just too much for my taste buds.

Fast forward 3 years. My beer palette has improved. I've moved up the latter to IPA's and I'm occasionally trying newer beers, sometimes going dark.

Last weekend, we went to YardHouse and I had a Goblet of there House Beligium Amber Tripel.

Not Bad

I'm now stuck on Tripel brews my brehs. Been trying to grab a different type a day on my way home from either Bev Mo or this brewhouse in San Jose.
