1 thing I don't like about the series is that it digresses to stories about individual lives a little too often for me.
I'd like it to focus more on the Black experience as a whole

I know bruh tried to defend Booker T Washington as best as he could, but I can't help but feel like Booker T is c00nish for that Atlanta Compromise bullshyt.

I feel you but the perspective defense is a good one.
A person born into slavery in the South is going to have a much different perspective than one born free in the North.
They may has well have been from different countries.
