that wasnt specified. i saw used DNA's for 129 an i know i can grab an iphone 5 off craigslist in that price range, if your point is that iphone have better residual value than htcs and other android devices you are correct.
TouchWiz is excellent based on all the different features and vast configurations you have available to customize or utilize your phone. However, due to the multitude of different options TW provides, it eats up a lot of memory, particularly with Samsung handsets purchased from the carriers because of all the extra bloatware installed. One you root your phone & eliminate all the unnecessary bullshyt apps that are constantly running & utilizing all the RAM and extra space within your phone, TW will run like a champion!
This is also why most people are duped into believing the iPhone is smoother, more efficient running overall, particularly if they just make calls, texts or randomly use the internet because the O.S. isn't as advanced or feature rich, therefore the RAM & processor doesn't have to work as hard.
When I upgraded my iphone 4 to IOS 7 it ran slow as dirt and the battery life became 
so I dunno where yall getting these ducktales from that it still runs great after a few years. Its durable as far as completely breaking down after several years but lets not get carried away here

Somebody on here trashed the Galaxy build quality, yea the iPhone is made of metal, lol it still breaks easier though. Samsung small rim bumper on the S5 is godly.

no the point is that htc dna came out during the iphone 4 era and yet matches up with the more pricey iphone 5. so instead of getting a iphone 4, get an htc dna for half the price of an iphone 5 and just be a year behind.
