Pac was not a street dude and it obvious his naivete of the streets led to his demise.
So how exactly should you react to people trying to extort you? And then when you stand up for yourself and let them know you're not a chump, they set you up to catch a rape charge from some scandalous hoe and then set you up to get robbed to teach you a lesson? How do you react to having to go to jail for shyt you ain't do? Or your former protege running along with those same guys? Or someone you thought was your friend running with them same cats that got you shot? Mind you, all of this at around the age of 23-24 years old, I'm saying what would you want someone like that to do in that situation? Someone that was raised to stand up for himself and his people? Raised by people that advocated carrying guns and using them?
Also, how was Pac not a street dude when he was basically raised in the streets? How was he not street when one of the people he cites as a father figure was some local drug dealer that his moms was dating? nikkaz kill me sometimes, just because someone has the ability to adjust to different environments and have knowledge outside of the street shyt doesn't mean that he can't be hip. I can't count how many conscious street nikkaz I've come across in my life. Believe it or not a lot of "Pac" types exist but his personality and circumstances set him apart and placed him on a pedestal of sorts. So people either think he's some type of fairytale character or he was faking.
I'm not tryna act pressed or anything but sometimes comments like yours boggle my mind. I suppose 'Pac isn't meant to be understood by everyone.
Edit: And as for this thread he claimed all of those locations except for Baltimore at one point or another. 'Pac credited Oakland with giving him the game and essentially bringing the thug out of him and he said if he had to claim any place it'd be Oakland because of that special bond, 'Pac also claimed NYC since he had love for the place of his birth and where he spent the first 13 years of his life shyt he said himself he listens to NYC Rap, rides NY Jeeps, and eats NYC Pizza and this was during the Vibe interview when the East/West shyt was jumping off, and 'Pac claimed L.A. because at the time of his death it was where he lived and where he was finding love in the face of his former home tryna shyt on him.
