Crazy how since 2000, critical thinking has become devalued

I don’t think it’s (critical thinking) become undervalued or even discouraged. I think the real problem is people can’t tell between bad ideas and good ones anymore because we’re experiencing hyper-zation of everything; information flow, capitalistic principles, etc. it’s when the flow of everything is too fast or swift to follow. It’s more like we’ll look back on things and realise later what the concrete effect was of all those elements working together at one moment. I doubt it’ll be good, it’ll lead to moral decay and breakdown of societal values once held.

It already has on the base level, capitalism and competition already bring out the worse in people and place people in many undesirable positions they can’t escape because of the moral decay everyone else around them is suffering. but soon it won’t matter even for appearance sake and a lot of people won’t “pretend” in a sense anymore. Americans like to think they can air out their laundry without experiencing any real backlash, that the process itself is cleansing, but it’s more revealing than solving deeply rooted issues...

I think its still critical thinking. If you film a porno running a train on a minor and dont think about the consequences of what can happen before you press send then :dame:

We living in the days of the retard.

People snitching on themselves, like guys like Kodak and XXXtentacion are always rapping about how the system is rigged or against them, which is true in a way but if your filming yourself with Guns, beating up your GF, have rape charges and alot of wild shyt they glorify then you shouldnt be suprised they are always on your ass. People these days dont think. No Common sense.

No, critical thinking went out the window.

People will question every thing to the point of not knowing a damn thing.

It's literally people here who think black people will be okay if we just all start businesses and invest into real estate, stock and cryptocurren$y.

Any idea of poltics is throw away as "begging."

It shows zero lack of knowledge of history and ignorance about economics.

People have always chosen to believe what they want to believe. The thing that has changed recently is that you can believe anything now and find a population of people that believe what you believe and you can find sources that confirm and enable those beliefs. We have become a society of enablers. This is true across all communities from the left to the right, from white to black. People believe what they want to believe and there is no one that can tell them any different.

I still don’t think it’s a matter of critical thinking because you have a few idiots doing shyt like this. Truth of the matter, there has always been more “idiots” in the world than “intelligent” people. And, like I said, even the example you used, that’s an example of how technology and information becomes available too easy and put on display too easy. I mean, if you wanted to take a nude picture back in 1918, you’d have to have the whole set up for it and publishing it would be another matter.
