at critics acting like this was a groundbreaking film in the rom-com genre.

This was just a Tyler Perry movie with Asians, right down to the ain’t s#it husband cheating on his wife that was too good for him in the first place. I liked it, but if it wasn’t for the Asian cast critics would be calling this cliche and contrived rom-com tripe.

Not a bad movie but they poured jelly on themselves having all them actors who weren’t full Asian. The male lead was definitely half white and it was obvious. Also how you gonna be an old money family in Singapore with business ties that goes back to the 1800s in China but your last name is Young Was expecting something a bit more ethnic.
