I wonder how they verify income. This could be a decent play to get a high limit card

I have no idea. every time I've applied for a credit card or requested a limit increase, they simply ask me to type in my income. I have no idea how they know whether or not I'm telling :duck:

I can tell you how. Plaid logging into your bank accounts or you have to send them 2 months of bank statements. It's bullshyt now because when you confirm you want the card you get a hard pull anyway.

The problem with this card is it isn't actual cash back. It's limited to partner websites you can use the points at which is why I was kinda lukewarm on it but the ability to create 1 day disposable credit cards and use them sold me. Probably gonna move all my recurring bills over to this.

i have no idea how plaid is still around, almost all their money is made during the user acquisition process. that's why visa wanted to buy them and plaid was down for it, they'd scoop the fintech integration stack and continue to charge the vig on every transaction.

I was wrong. You can get a statement credit for 0.7 of a cent per point which works out to 1.4% cash back instead of the minimum of 2% on partner sites. On a positive note if you're a gamer you can use the cash back at Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo's sites.
