It's Apollo Crews... :yeshrug:

I think he has something, he just hasn't tapped into it yet, or maybe no one's allowed him to channel that into his character... he's gotta get somethin' though. I haven't even heard him speak before, and his overall image is just... plain. Smackdown is a lil' less stacked roster-wise, so he'll have room to do better, but he doesn't stand out at the moment. I put Corbin in the same category tho', and if he doesn't get over soon, he'll probably be in the same Crews is in.

The thing about Corbin though...I know exactly who Corbin is. He's a lone wolf character (which is what Reigns should have been his initial solo run) who doesn't really care for anybody. I've been given a reason to not like him. Who is Crews right now? Outside of being a good wrestler, what other reason should I care to cheer for him?

Kofi picked up steam against Orton til it was derailed for some stupid reason.

Do not lie to me and tell me you saw Stunning Steve Austin as wrestlings next big deal in WCW, ECW or as the Ringmaster in WWF. No one did. He was a talented mid card guy who never got a shot.

This isnt about race. Crews not having anything to do has nothing to do with race and more to do with creative not being creative. And even if it was, dont act like were the only ones who bring it up. You do also. A lot. Its fine because it often needs to be illustrated to make certain points but dont go pointing fingers.

Wow, we're comparing Apollo Crews to SCSA? We're comparing somebody with actual charisma, personality, and superstardom power that transcended wrestling and prevented a company from going completely bankrupted to a human cut out?:heh::dead:

You guys are delusional. I understand we want a Black champion and face of the company, but Apollo just doesn't have "it." Hell, even dudes on here said he's good in the ring, but that's about it and that was before he came to the WWE.

It IS about race to some of you because it was brought up several times.

Face it, Apollo is midcard at best. There's nothing wrong with that, but he still needs a lot of work, but nobody can create a personality and "it factor" for you. You either have it or you don't.

Titus babbling like an idiot >>>>>>>> Apollo smiling all the goddamn time for no fukking reason. :upsetfavre:

This :mjlol: plus during that promo Titus was able to get himself together and draw a reaction, not including when he kicked Young and Backlund's ass.

I understand it usually takes you a while to see my point so, read that second paragraph again. I said Austin was seen as midcard until he finally got a real shot. They have not invested much time into Crews so you dont know what he has. You could be right but he hasnt flopped because he hasnt gotten the chance to.

But fine, since you want a more tangible comparison. Here...

That guy had the same character as Crews. They gave him a shot and he ran with it. No listen to this next part because this is the point you seem to miss. NO ONE IS SAYING APOLLO CREWS IS GOING TO BE THE NEXT ROCK. What I am saying is we might have missed out on the Rock had they not gave him the chance to be great. So point is, if you bring him up to the main roster, give the guy something to do. If he doesnt work out, release him.

Instead of resorting to personal attacks, just admit he's not what you want him to be and never will be. The Rock and SCSA are leagues above and beyond most of the talent nowadays. Just how it is. You guys are getting desperate for a Black champion and that's fine, but Titus, Apollo, etc. just aren't IT.

People like Bret and The Undertaker saw potential in The Rock and SCSA for a reason. They were meant to be SOMEBODY.

I don't understand how Corbin gets a push at all. He's kinda tall, but that's about it. He's not good in the ring or with promos, he has the WOAT hairline, and has a bowlful of jelly for a stomach. Who is he sucking off?

Why won't they get this man a manager :what:

Someone to let the audience know he's unstoppable like Kobe in a Colorado hotel room :what:
For a minute it looked like Show was going to be his mentor. That would have been dope. Crews doing all that flippy good guy shyt and acting oblivious to his 7 ft manager putting the beats on people to help him win.
