No, I don't think Bill is the richest man in the world. There are bloodlines that made what he is reported to be worth centuries ago.

exactly my point, its all entertainment not to be taken literally. You'd be a fool to believe everything you see and read in the media i.e. music, tv, radio, newspapers.

corny nikkas hating on another mans pockets lmao
nothing to hate on, you talking like he's doing something positive lol.

People don't know how to deal with anything that challenges their belief system, whether that be religion, sports or music.

If you wanna believe rappers really make/own as much as they say and not believe it's all entertainment orchestrated by white guys in an office sitting around a table, so be it.

With all due respect you don't have a clear enough understanding of how artist make money in the entertainment industry. There is way more to this than touring and record sales.

and thats so absure because the last snoop album sold major units:rudy: new or old dont mean nothing, no love in the business. You're only as valuable as your last hit record

Cory broke it down nice with this one

Snoop sells out shows around the world, he eats off live shows more then anyone, add all his endorsements and you see why he on Forbes list every year

Also, I know Gates isn't the richest man in the world but that doesn't mean that his reported worth isn't factual. You are taking one aspect of your argument then applying it to something else.

Na, you're being subjective.

Someone referred to the forbes list as an accurate portrayal of listings based on net worth.

You agreed with me that the listings isn't accurate. No point going back to disagree just for the sake of supporting your argument,

We can all agree to disagree, coz I know Rap is like religion to folks.

And just like religious people, anything that challenges their beliefs they cant accept.

I didn't say it wasn't accurate. I said the notion that Bill Gates is the richest man on earth isn't accurate. I didn't say whatever they reported his worth being wasn't accurate. Two different things all together. Snoop being worth at least one hundred million regardless of the forbes list sound true to me. When I made the initial comment I wasn't even thinking of the Forbes list. Just his presence in media throughout the years and having a general idea of the ways entertainers make money is what I based my comment on. You say rappers don't make money like that and it's entertainment to say they are all rich. I agree with that. But, that doesn't apply to a rapper like Snoop. He's an Icon.

:salute: should have left it there.

I think you being naive with that last part, but we can agree to disagree.

fukk snoop, I got no love for these rappers. :manny:

Nothing to do with hating, I just know black people would be better if Rap was never invented or died out. I welcomed this skinny jean, new black swag coz I thought it was gonna be a turn from the nature of rap which is detrimental to black folks status in society. But its all the same old shyt, so I hope the whole industry folks one day. In the name of black unity. You can hold this rep doe, peace.

lol I don't got love for Snoop either. Don't confuse this disagreement for me being a fan. I never liked him, not even Doggystyle.
