I used to wonder shyt like this about Beyoncé like "why is it that as soon as someone criticizes her, it's like you slapped God in the face in the middle of a monastery?"

But whatever, with Lupita, it is what it is. She seems to be a high character woman, a celebrity who gives me no reason to root against her. I don't believe in the groupthink mentality that people are above reproach, but she is very beautiful to me so it doesn't bother me with her. But maybe I'm biased because my girl looks like her.

I do have to say though.. In general, anyone can get it and it drives me nuts that some famous folks are like cows in India

There's nothing random about it. I went to undergrad in MA and I have a lot of friends and associates in Pioneer Valley. Lupita graduated from Hampshire College in '07. When she started hitting it big, stories came out. She had a white girlfriend while she was in school and it caused a scandal within her family. Her family, especially her father (who was into the political scene), were very much against it.

Despite how prim and proper she acts now, she used to be very wild, care-free and rough around the edges.
