I've had this since Early Access a few months back.
Its a good game. Can't comment on the late game since I checked out once I knew it was legit. Definitely something you'd need a controller for though. Tried this on KB/M and was getting bodied after the first area after the city.
Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an old school Zelda/Mega Man mashup
