I gotta feeling the crowd is gonna turn on Rocky and side with Punk in this one. It wouldn't be new to Rocky getting booed and I think the crowd may be sick of him coming back and leaving and not want to see Punk's reign end.

The westcoast isn't gonna go crazy for CM Punk out of the blue. His best markets is his hometown and having weak opponents in other arenas. When he went againt Bryan, they cheered him against him openly at two PPV matches. And his pop and value isn't the same with fans in attendance when Rock and Taker are around...the crowd was comically silent for him at WM 28 despite having a hot year on the mic and having a long reign. And most importantly....even at his hottest, when he bytched about the Rock, it ended with deafening heat. Hell, they even stayed with Ryback against Punk a few weeks ago. His match with Cena in Boston was hilarious because the fans didn't want to cheer for either He's not Daniel Bryan. He's the REAL hottest guy in pro wrestling.

Punk should drop the respect angle and just
these last few RAWs about the days in his reign. Turn up the arrogance and draw attention to the past superstar reigns he surpasses.

Not like he's gonna be around the whole year. Fast Six is supposed to drop May 24th and I'm sure he's probably going to have to go out to promote the movie. I doubt you'll be seeing much of The Rock after Wrestlemania XXIX.
Doesn't matter to guys like Rock and Undertaker. They're into affecting fan emotions during matches and in Rock's case, in promos too. It's a internet talking point though because guys like Batista, Cena, Michaels(Survivor Series 96) and others just get so bothered by it and you can see that
