Of course you can always fly to Mexico first if you ain't tryna have a Cuba stamp in your passport. You'll have tho get a visa in Mexico to pull it off. Then you can do whatever you want once you fly to Cuba from Mexico.

Yeah you can't just go there just to party up. Not even with Obama's loosening up of things. That's if you fly from the us into Cuba.

So yeah if you want to go there and do your own thing you gotta fly to Mexico first, get a travel visa while you are in the Mexican airport, then fly from Mexico to Cuba. You basically have to do that so you don't get Cuba stamping your passport.

Americans have been going to Cuba for YEARS, just through other countries like Mexico, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands (this is what I did). You buy a tourist card there for $$20-25 dollars. When you got to Cuba, they would offer to stamp your card instead of your passport.

When Obama made the changes, you no longer had to go get government permission. You could determine on your own what "license" you could get. You just needed to keep an "itinerary" with some receipts/pics as proof you weren't there for just tourism. This was never really checked though.

YOU CAN STILL TRAVEL THERE UNDER THE TRUMP PLAN. However, you have to assume that they are going to really check out your itinerary. You can no longer travel individually under the "Educational/People to People" license. That must be done with a group (avoid them, overpriced and not worth it). Support of the Cuban People will be the next popular individual license.

You can't stay at government hotels (no loss since they are shytty anyway). It will be difficult to track where your money went for food though because our American cards are no good there. You literally have to walk with cash (their currency).

As far as meeting women, you might meet some cute tourists. You can forget just fukkin' with a local Cuban girl unless you willing to pay one way or another

i just went to cuba in march... bought a ticket to fly out of florida. you gotta pay $100 for a "visa"

the visa process is EXACTLY this:

1. get off your plane/pull up at florida airport.
2. check in
3. go to your departure gate
4. tell employee that you need your cuban visa
5. fill out half sheet of paper, marking 1 of 12 reasons why you are going
6. notice that employee does not give any fukks and will not check your reason nor ask for proof
7. pay money
8. go to cuba



from there we got to airbnb... yes they have those.. or you can get a telly if you want. and do whatever the fukk you want. we walked around all day. hit clubs at night. fukked with some bytches. met some local cubans and partied at their house. bought some cubans. bought some weed. bought some liquor. partied all night

Wanted to go like 5 or so years ago, now I'm not really interested because it seems like everyone and their mamas is going there, ruined the appeal. Plus, I wanted to go and be off the map sort of. It seems like it's harder to do that since they've opened up.
