i just went to cuba in march... bought a ticket to fly out of florida. you gotta pay $100 for a "visa"

the visa process is EXACTLY this:

1. get off your plane/pull up at florida airport.
2. check in
3. go to your departure gate
4. tell employee that you need your cuban visa
5. fill out half sheet of paper, marking 1 of 12 reasons why you are going
6. notice that employee does not give any fukks and will not check your reason nor ask for proof
7. pay money
8. go to cuba



from there we got to airbnb... yes they have those.. or you can get a telly if you want. and do whatever the fukk you want. we walked around all day. hit clubs at night. fukked with some bytches. met some local cubans and partied at their house. bought some cubans. bought some weed. bought some liquor. partied all night

trump changed you can't use "person to person" as a reason for going anymore. there are still 11 more options to choose, and like i said, you dealing with american flight workers, who could give two fukks why you leaving. they just make you mark the paper and get on. ain't no american customs agents checking the shyt before you board. and definitely cuba ain't checking it cause they want your money

he also said it's illegal for americans to spend money on any business that does business with the military... well get cash when you get there and that'll be that.. you think they gonna have american undercover agents to watch all tourists and see where they spend their money?

Havana's bright lights are magnitizing.. ill city..

No but I still plan on going despite the new policy. My mom, my sister and my aunt went way before Obama lifted the travel restrictions. They flew to Panama and then from there to Cuba. They used their Haitian passports. I think Bush was still president.

I also have family (dad's side) who live in Cuba but I've never met them.

Cuba's nice, beautiful country with beautiful people. The culture there is very warm, The people there are really friendly and kind, but that may be because i was a tourist.

I spent a weeks in Havana, and some days in Varadaro, while Fidel was under power.

The thing is, back when Obama was around the state department did NOT look into the reasons why you wanted to go. Now, under Trump's state department they will literally audit you and you have to provide itineraries and all kinds of shyt to prove you went over there for the allowed reasons (education, humanitarian, etc.). They specifically said they would begin enforcing this harder compared to Obama.

It will not be easy as it used to be.
