Going through her page and I’m like well.. I’m glad I came up on Tribe, De La, PE, Brand Nubian, etc. I’m not going to act like I didn’t listen to the songs she’s highlighting, but I literally can’t tell you the last time I’ve sat and listened to these songs she’s highlighting. That’s why BALANCE WAS IMPORTANT BACK THEN! You barely have that now which I think is what led to her doing what she’s doing. Somebody has to “stick it to the old folks” letting us know that artists were saying crazy stuff back then too. Well, I have enough music to where I never have to listen to any of those songs she’s talking about ever again. I love this Cube album but this particular song is on the bottom of songs from that album that I’m listen to these days.
