Who the fukk would take this cac seriously :deadmanny:

Really though Cudi annoys me sometimes with his whining and self-centeredness, but I support him because nobody else has his style (though plenty try to imitate) and it's pretty dope.

As someone who listens to alternative and indie in addition to Hip-Hop, I'm getting faded to his new album right now (first listen) and so far it's pretty decent, not amazing but definitely not terrible. Closed minded people just aren't ready for genre bending I guess, but this shyt's definitely better than Rebirth. :manny:

Hope the dude pulls through :mjcry:

Why can't he just make dope shyt like this anymore? :mjcry:

Like I've said, Cudi wasn't that great of an artist, but I wouldn't lie and say he didn't make good music. He should had never abandoned the Alternative Hip-Hop lane he was in (which gave us his best music) for Alternative Rock (which has given us some of the worst music over the last few years).

Everyone can't make that transition smoothly....Wayne tried it, failed and went back to doing what he's known for. On paper, it looked like Cudi had a better chance of succeeding (I kinda saw it coming), but it didn't. Now he wants to off himself because everyone is shytting on the album and rightfully so. I understand how it feels to be depressed because I've been there but gotdamn my nikka...get some thick skin. Muthafukka has a nice life, a daughter and has all the freedom he wants to make do/anything. Grow some fukking nuts nh smh

Cudi hates Hip-Hop so much....he's trying his hardest to distance himself away from it. He needs to go back to his roots and make the music that gave him the fanbase he's earned (which he's now squandered away).

you lying to yourself breh, cudi record is trash. you probably listening to coldplay and euro camel song and thinking you on some major genre bending experience. Cudi deserves every bit of hate he gets the only peeps co signing this sh*t is the middle school groupies that can't see pass MOTM1&2 and other artists he cool with. Cudi's personality ain't helping him either. Remember him being on twitter talking bs about his record being this life changing experience that only the chosen few would understand :camby:

:russ: Where is this coming from breh? I wasn't addressing you at all

You can't fukk with me, go play somewhere, I'm busy :umad:

Cage's life was way more fukked up than Cudi's, there's definitely similarities in their styles and mindsets though, which is probably why they get along. Maniac's still my favorite Cudi track too, that collab was fire :takedat:

Aha chill breh, I'm not looking to sell this album to anyone or whatever, my opinion on it is clearly different than most and I'll stand by it. Stans try and force their beliefs on others, and I'm no stan. I'd give it a 6/10, and that's my personal rating, nobody else's. It's nowhere near the high points of this year (TPAB, Summertime 06, ALLA, and so on) but there's at least a few enjoyable tracks on it like Confused to redeem it. Beavis and Butthead was mostly before my time but I grew up on it through dvds and stuff so that shyt's funny to me.

I don't care if other people hate music I like, cause there's more important things to worry bout in life. Why not smoke a blunt and enjoy your favorites? At the end of the day we're individuals, and I'm not going to change what I think just cause someone else is telling me to. :youngsabo:

Both fell the fukk off too.

Hell's Winter is one of my personal favorites and then Cage hasnt put out great music since

I imagine it's some all american "alone switchin between cac music videos on Vh1 and MTV at 4:00 AM" type vibe.

His music, wale's music, and lupe's music are sonically related to each other.

"I'm mad [Mond] cut out my kissing scenes with David," Cudi said with a wry smile during an audience Q&A session after the film. "We made out so many times -- and it was so good--
