Straightened my hair so much now it wont curl right. I heat damaged my hair. I burnt my hair straight. Now its ugly. All over. 3 cheers for natural hair and its versatility!

I let my friend put the Organix Brazilian Keratin treatment on my hair. I have about 5, I don't know how to say, you know the how you hair groups into a single curl? I have about 5 of those that got damaged they never curled back the same. I had to cut them because it looked crazy those random strands hanging lower than the rest of my hair, they were so long. I haven't straightened my hair again since.

yep. all of us....some tighter more corkscrew curls and some looser more mixed girl "ringlets" type curls...but ALL of us can have this.
as a stylist i'm doing my best to bring as many as i can into the light. :o

A good natural hair stylist, who actually is knowledgable and skilled at handling the hair, is hard to find! I've heard so many horror stories! I'm a DIY-er myself for that very reason! I only go to a stylist for blow out and trims every 4 months.

FYI, that afro was achieved by blowing the curls out! I have to have my hair blown out in order to achieve that 70s look, otherwise, I have ringlets and curls
