haha. I like Curren$y, but admittedly he's one of the most pointless emcees ever. Reminds me of elevator music. He makes good background music.

The last thing Spitta is is boring. He’s not on some lyrical miracle heavyweight iron bars rap, but he can pain vivid pictures and take you to another zone.He’s a highly talented emcee. There’s a lot more to being a dope emcee then being a conventional rhymer. He’s an authentic artist that doesn’t compromise and is true to himself. He’s not a grifter or clout chaser.
Dude is respected by all his peers and the legends before him. There’s not nothing there.

I have that album. Don't get me wrong, believe me, I like Curren$y and have just about 90% of his material including a playlist I created exclusive to him. Still though, to me he makes largely background noise music. I couldn't recite not one rhyme of his but I still like his material. I get in certain moods, I'll put his music on. I like him for the same reason I like Long John Silvers where the chicken and the fish tastes exactly the same. It ain't nothing memorable to eat, but it's good.
Fair. Feel like he stepped up lyrically on Outrunners and Directors Cut. Could be I'm feeling that way because the overall quality of the albums. Best smoke and zone out music I heard this year.

I'm starting to think so much indoor time due to the pandemic is actually what's fueling a lot of the ridiculous pace of quality drops and releases we're getting every week from so many dope artists. Lots of time to be inside and introspective, lots of time to record, and no shortage of things to write about.
