this project is actually quite boring
Haram was far and away a better project.
When youre used to hearing Fetti/Covert Coup caliber shyt, this is very disappointing

Reading opinions on this album are all over the place. You got people putting this in their top 5 Spitta projects and then I'm reading some takes like yours as well.

Haram seems like a weird one to compare this too. That was a super experimental batch from Alc. Weird set of beats. But I'll take Spitta/Benny/Boldy/Conway/Gibbs/Roc/Ev as rappers over Armand Hammer any day. I know those guys are dope, but they just aren't my style of rap.

Project is dope.

Exactly what I want from ALC and Spitta. Day one supporters understand the lane, and can appreciate what they did on this one. And the features came through too! Definitely gonna be playing this joint for a minute. These two never disappoint.
lol at day one supporters. irrelevant
this is the worst alchemist/spitta collab

covert = fetti > carrolton > this
the harry fraud joints are better than this too

Im surprised people aren't championing this album as much as I thought they'd be.

This is better than Covert Coupe to me .. I really preferred this sparse, more calm production style.... Currensy always brings his A game lyrically for Alc too..

This is much better than I thought itd be

I agree that Fetti is by far and away, the hardest project they've created, its not even clsoe to me.

After my initial reaction gave it sometime to breathe. It's still their weakest effort miles behind CC and CH, though this is probably Spitta's strongest performance front to back on Alchemist production. Should have called this Cruise Control.

I thought it was interesting too that Alc even said this was one of his less impressive batches on production

Not surprised. Spitta is strangley eclectic when it comes to Alchemist production. Maybe the boom bap stuff is not quite his flavor. Between him and Earl I rarely know what to expect when they collab with Al.

Daps and rep. Dead on accurate. I'd even add Roc Marci to that list, but Spitta and Earl mostly come to mind in terms of me never knowing what to expect when they pick Alc beats
