They need to go ahead and drop this friday
They usually don't take more than 1-2 weeks once Spitta starts posting vids like this.

Unpopular opinion. I halfway want Alc to slow down a bit. :hubie:

We got Tea, Alfredo, and Lulu in 2020, and not even halfway through 2021, we got Haram, Thing of Ours, and on deck we got this new Spitta project, a follow up to Tea with Boldy, and 80% likely we're getting a Roc Marci and Alc album in the 4th quarter. And who knows what else. Plus the joints he's got on these upcoming albums with Evidence, Conway, Benny, and WSG.

I won't complain about more music, but he's dropping projects left and right.

This feels like 2012-13 when he was dropping projects left and right and I won't complaint!

Will this project feature drums?
Good question. With Spitta it’s hard to say man. Covert Coup was all drums minus one or maybe two joints, but then Carrollton Heist was more of a 50/50 split.

Currensy likes a lot of lush beats with light drums. He’s not like Evidence, Boldy, or Conway, that go for the harder beats.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s not a ton of drums on this one. But they don’t miss together, for the most part.

I wish he and Alc both spiced it up a little bit. They're both getting kind of redundant to me.

I feel you. I won’t complain either. And you know Al’s my favorite producer and that I been a fan since the beginning.

It’s just that, I think I’d rather get less music if it could be a bit more fleshed out. And maybe it’s just an issue of recency bias. I thought This Thing Of Ours was cool, but also sounded like a lot of unfinished ideas for songs.

I guess that’s just how he works now. And it’s not necessarily wack. The 94 Ghost beat never got finished and it’s still my favorite Alc joint with Griselda. But some of the stuff coming out here and there sounds a little lazy to me.

But obviously you know I’ll always support :manny:

You hear the new joint Al did for Ev? I’d like to hear more of that. It sounds kinda experimental and it still has some knock.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I want hear more percussion and uptempo work from Al. I love what he does experimenting, but some times it comes off like just experimenting just to do it. It's creative, but it doesn't mean I want to hear a monotone rapper like Spitta rap over it for 40 minutes.
