I haven't listened to a Spitta project in at least a couple of years and i'm reminded why....how do some of ya'll listen to his four albums+ a year and not get bored?

Maybe it'll grow on me but first listen found it pretty meh

The Final Board beat reminded me of some DOOM shyt though

that’s spitta, his flow is laid back, you looking for a hype song from spitta ?? But if you mean the tone of the songs that’s probably the mood he’s in Alc makes beats in the mode you want to have the music reflect

none will go harder because it’s only one covert Coup, you can’t look at music as this ain’t (insert song/album) you have to enjoy it as it’s own entity because if not it will rob you of any aspect this new song brings

Yeah CC definitely has more bangers but this is a cruising album for sure…even the underlying theme of the album is about cars and riding


CC an album I like to zone out with headphones and vibe to but this album I’m outside with soon as it gets warmer

And that's why I hate Spitta changed the album title at the 11th hour and said this was a direct sequel to Covert Coup.

Add to your list Success is my Cologne. BBS. Smoke Break. Blood Sweat Gears. Ventilation. All bangers. Covert Coup was a hard album. Gritty psychedelic space rock shyt. The only not "banger" on CC is Life Instructions.

Albert Einstein is probably the closest Alc has come since then to trying to nail that sound again. And some joints on the last 3 Boldy albums he did.

I don't understand any of the comparisons of this album sonically to Covert Coup. If people want to say they like it as much, or more, or less, whatever. Cool. But this album very obviously doesn't sound like Covert Coup at all.
