That's real weird. I didn't skip those joints...but if I had to pick any I almost did, it would've been those 2. Listened again and like both of them. Inspiration is a classic love it or hate it rare and spaced out loop that Alchemist would just throw up and not really touch. If you told me Bronson was on this project and I had to guess which one he was on as soon as the song started, I would have guessed Inspiration was the one featuring Bronson within 10 seconds. It sounds like something that would've been on Rare Chandeliers or Mr. Wonderful. This shyt sounds so fukking weird. Incredible. Some songs I skipped on first listen, Vibrations, Inspiration.. Second listen, those sunk in. A lot more listening required. Out-mellows Covert Coup. This may be the new king of 420 records for laid back listening.
Yea I can't fukk with Vibrations, horns too loud and I see what Spitta was doing but I can't really fukk with it. Only track I'm not feeling at the moment. That's real weird. As far as Vibrations...I've never heard an Alchemist beat....I've never heard any beat like that. It's clearly meant to have some New Orleans jazz influence. I love the Juve hook. It's got a nice little groove to it after a couple listens. The horns really are just so in your face and experimental that I could see some people not fukking with it or needing it grow on them. It's definitely not my favorite joint on here, but I'm gonna let it cook.
That's very dope! I'm downloading it. I also like that you put Cartridge before Black Rally Stripes since that's the correct order.Just seen this alternative covert art on twitter

And now I just noticed how the very end of Cartridge bleeds into Black Rally StripesIf you have iTunes or are making a playlist, put Cartridge before Black Rally Stripes. Datpiff fukked it up. The original order was for Cartridge to go before Black Rally Stripes, and then Vibrations. That's what Spitta posted, and if you make a playlist on iTunes and rearrange them in the right order, you'll hear how all 3 tracks flow together much better and more seamlessly.
Also, 93 AMG is supposed to be called 96 AMG.

Double 07 is still probably my favorite joint between Alchemist and Spitta and I've enjoyed Covert Coup for so many years and is damn near perfect. I love or really like 7 of the joints on here. I kinda like 2, and I feel ehh about 1.500 Pounds of Gas
This aint Covert Coup but it's a good project nonetheless
I never would've noticed but I was likeAnd now I just noticed how the very end of Cartridge bleeds into Black Rally Stripes

why would they just change the order of those 2 songs, so I flipped them in my playlist just to see what it sounded like and realized that
someone fukked up
2016 is already off to a great start.
