Any word on how much tracks it gon' have? 5 songs is better than nothing, but considering that CC had 10 tracks i hope that this follow-up has at least 10. Also Gibbs should coerce Al into dropping the Devil's Palace. I hope that that project doesn't stay on Al's hard drive forever.
It's a full project, no matter what he said about it being recorded in one day. Maybe he recorded the bulk of it on 1/4, but he's posted all kinds of stuff like "recording more for Carrollton Heist" and between Instagram and periscope, assuming he doesn't cut anything he's played so far, I've already heard a good 7 different joints. I'm expecting 8-12 joints for the project. Somewhere in there. He's already played more than 5 joints, with vocals on them. So he and Al are still working on it, so things could always get added or subtracted, but I don't see anything getting cut b/c everything so far has sounded really dope. He's trying to get some features, and who knows, if Gibbs or Jadakiss or someone comes through and just wants to record a brand new song, that could easily happen.
I think Devil's Palace is one of those urban legend projects. I heard a while back from a good source that it never got finished, but that they do have a handful of songs laying around. I don't think they have enough to make a full album out of it.
