08-10 Spitta>>> what we're getting now, by the time Covert Coup, Cigarette Boats, Stoned Immaculate dropped he was already past his lyrical peak IMO. Not to say he can't still come with it(like Showroom as u mentioned) but he was way way more consistent back then. Back then it was rare you was getting a weak verse and the flow was tighter and the wordplay hella creative.

Covert Coup came out during his peak, it dropped 4 months after pilot talk 2. I say his last project he dropped that i consider was part of his blogger/hypebeast era was weekend at burnies. After that project his pen game was getting lazy.
Which came out first, Covert Coup or Weekend At Burnies? I know I am probably in the minority but I thought Covert Coup was when he started to go up and down in his raps, I thought he was way better on WAB. "Money Machine" was like "Airborne Aquarium pt 2", he didn't spit anything near as nice on Covert Coup.

I don;t ever really mind skits as long as they're at the end of a song. If they're at the beginning it can be fukking annoying. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx has them at the opening of the song and to me it's the only annoying part about that album.

Word I thought lyrically he was very sharp on The Drive In Theatre and that dropped in 2014. Seemed like he was really focused on that rather than just vibing to the beats like with the Saturday Night Car Tunes series and others
