Dude is literally recording on the bus, at his homies house, drop in studios. Spitta is just laying the rhymes down and letting us eat. Mastering is not gonna be there my dude but that's a sacrifice I can handle :manny:

i rather he wait a bit and drop it right :yeshrug:

its good not :krs:

he could have drop this on 4.20 and tweak it a bit to be perfect

Brehs, I wasn't really feeling this before, but after letting it digest.....:wow:

This might be just as good as Covert Coup, if not better. It's different but it still had some heat....Alc went foolish on these beats.

Inspiration is fukking ridiculous

Breh have you heard this track? The second beat starting around 1:32 is fukking amazing. Actually all four beats are ridiculous and SP kills it of course.

That's what got me excited for a project a few years ago. Because it's got all the best switches and got people open to what a full project might sound like. Yeah the 2nd beat and the 4th beat are my favorites.

Alc released the instrumentals for this song if you want it.

i think the beats on this > cover t coup

the tightness of the project on covert coupe > this

I think this has a more consistent sounding vibe and feel to it. A lot of the CC beats sound soooo different from each other. But I think the highs on it are higher. Like my jaw hot the floor when I heard some of the beats like The Type, Double 07, and Full Metal. I hadn't heard beats like those before.

I definitely think is is a more consistent vibe though. I like how relaxing it is.

Word I thought lyrically he was very sharp on The Drive In Theatre and that dropped in 2014. Seemed like he was really focused on that rather than just vibing to the beats like with the Saturday Night Car Tunes series and others
I agree, loved his rapping on there, "ET" had the kind of verses I wish he would deliver all the time now. Basically at this point in his career we are getting him being on point every other project where before you got that consistency every time out.

@Jimmy ValenTime

... @TheDarceKnight , you know that rollercoaster scream ALC use at the beginnin of his beats:lupe:

Is that from Skeelo's I Wish I was a Little Bit Taller:krs:

I think you're thinking about this sample. It's very common, both in Alc's beats and by a lot of other producers also.

Does this sound right? The very first few seconds.
