weekend is one of my top currensy projects, so yea, it's based off the predecessor. currensy is pretty good a tapping into similar types of sounds for his multi part volumes, so when he announced weekend 2, i'm looking forward to him cooking up some more tracks in that vein, with those producers, something that sounds like it truly is a continuation of the first weekend.
