I don't know about that...it doesn't mean failure. But you know what the fukk I'm talking about..when it came time to push the Shield, they were undefeated for months and kept away from the Cena bull$hit. Why is no one else afforded that luxury?

Well if everybody that gets called up is gonna be undefeated, being undefeated doesn't mean shyt. And really, all it does is open the floodgates to people acting like they've been "buried" soon as they finally do lose a match. Rusev beat everybody for a year, and has lost to a grand total of about 4 people... and everybody acts like he's a jobber now. That win/loss record shyt is kayfabe only... someone who's really over will stay over win or lose. shyt, Foley became legendary and most of his greatest matches are ones that he lost. Austin's crossover to main event material was a match he lost. I mean if a MF's losing on a Zack Ryder/Fandango level, that's different. But a handful of losses to top stars shouldn't destroy someone's career.

I dont understand you people who say there is no brass ring.

Roman reigns not only found it, but found it in under 5 years.

John Cena found it in under 3 years in wwe.

Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle found it in their 1st year in wwe.

What happened to all those morons screaming for that bum ziggler, hes a whiny, more than likely homosexual or atleast bisexual, who rips off billy gunn......billy gunn, rockabilily, he was reaching for mediocrity from the jump

Daniel Bryan, hes an injury prone goof who fukked up the company post wrestlemania for 2 years in a row and somehow is surprised wwe wont clear him to die in their ring.

Cesaro, who is cesaro?, what is his gimmick? male pattern baldness? he doesnt even know how many ropes the ring has.

Seth Rollins, ratings reached record lows with him on top, his promos got go away heat, he doesnt know how to work, and by work i dont mean do a bunch of moves, but protect his opponent while entertaining the crowd, he's not safe, he broke cenas nose, damn near killed sting on ppv and injured himself trying to POWERBOMB Kane, a 7 ft 300 lb monster.

That contrarian-ass tryhard Messiah is back?

I'll give you Cena finding the brass ring sure but Reigns, Lesnar, and Angle? Reigns who is built and is from one of the most successful families grabbed the brass ring? Lesnar who they scouted out of college because he was/is a monster grabbed the brass ring? An Olympic gold medalist grabbed the brass ring? Those three all had some kind of pedigree and WWE knew what they wanted with them

And they all adapted and transitioned into main event talent,

Kurt angle came out of nowhere and held his own in the ring and on the mic with austin and the rock, he deserved to be a top guy.

Look at Brock Lesnar, a legit ncaa champion, 300 lbs ripped with abs, that can move like a damn cruiserweight and do shooting presses and toss big show around like its nothing, and most of all LOOKED like somebody who'd be in the running to play the terminator.

Kevin Kelly told a story about how when they first were doing segments on confidential on brock and went to his house, there were birds outside making too much noise while they were filming, brock said "want me to quiet them down?", went out, knocked the damn nest down and snapped all the birds, even the baby birds necks and tossed them.

Roman Reigns, once again, heres a guy who LOOKS like a killer, has an athletic background and is holding his own in main event programs with Lesnar and Sheamus, whats the problem?

But if they didn't live up to the expectations, they wouldn't have had it.

Angle's not the first Olympic competitor to sign to WWE... maybe the most successful, but if he wasn't able to make the transition and prove he could hang with the top stars in the ring or on the mic, he'd have been chillin' in the midcard and possibly at the bottom of the card.

Reigns is from a storied wrestling family, true... but he could've just as easily been Rosey or the Tonga Kid. :manny:

Lesnar has it all... he just does :manny: He's not incredible on the mic, but overall- everything they gave him to do, he delivered and built the reputation he has. If he didn't have the talent or fell short on any of it, he'd have never gotten to this point. They treated Vladimir Kozlov the same way and he ended up teaming with Santino.

Also, we're leavin' out that in addition to talent, there's also other things that come with that.

There was a time in early/mid-2000 that Kurt Angle was doing jobs following his initial push. If he had started jumpin' on AOLChat telling his fans that he was pissed off that he had to lose to Big Show in 2 minutes, or bytchin' about not being on SmackDown that week, or wasn't respected/liked backstage... he wouldn't have seen King of the Ring or a world title.
