Called the Cable company and they literally put me on hold over and over again
No lie, on the phone now, and have been transferred 6 times to different customer service agents. All I want to do is go to a lower/cheaper Internet plan

Guess they trying to get rid of me and make me give up. But nah

tell them you want to cancel the service, they'll put you on with customer retention.... you can go from there

Ok so what happened a week ago I called and was only asking for a change of service to a different location. The lady was slick and registered me for a more expensive plan that I had no idea about. So I'm seeing this new bill that looks more than it usually was :mjtf:


Transferred 6 times on the phone to eventually get a slick person on the phone saying "Um we can't change your plan until the service is complete. I am having problems with my computer right now"

Told her straight up, "Either you complete this transaction or get someone above you to complete instead"

Transferred for a 7th and final time. This lady was nice. Put the plan back to what it originally was for $5 less and given me a month extra to pay my next bill :mjgrin:

I called to get internet service hooked up at my place and the chick on the phone (definitely a sister from the sound of her voice) was dead set on selling me the cable tv package even after I told her I don't own a television. She was like "how.do you watch the news"? None of your fukken business lady now can we talk about this fiber optic internet.

Man I swear y’all have no real problem solving skills. Cable company playing games, then you gotta go to war. All you need to do is file a complaint with the FCC. It’s a form you can fill out online. Tell them they refuse to speak to you about changing your plan. Don’t say no one ever answered. Word it in a way where it seem like they told you no. Say you feel discriminated against. In 1-3 days the cable companies customer care team gonna contact you apologizing and take care of what you need. fukk what everybody else gonna tell you. This is what’s gonna work.

Upper Management putting the press on all the reps to sell TV package deals. They getting slaughtered by the streaming services.
